ABOUT BRITS OUT WEST
Brits Out West (B.O.W.) is a hobby cattery focused on breeding beautiful and quality British Shorthairs. BOW's love for cats has spanned decades, but we started falling in love with the British Shorthair breed in 2017. After researching and reading (for over a year), we finally rationalized that it would be worth spending the money to see if this breed had the personality and looks that everyone online raved about. Finan & Max arrived on the scene in December 2018 and have only exceeded their breed reputation. Our family's love for this breed and our cats has only grown with time...we are completely over the moon for their cute faces and funny personalities! The past couple years, we have been making relationships with breeders all over the world. Researching and discussing blood types and learning about the breed standard. We are currently focused on breeding primarilly blue and lilac British Shorthairs. Occasionally we have chocolate and cinnamon colors.
A BIT OF BACKGROUND
Ryan and Maggie have lived in Bozeman for 14 years, not including their college years. Together they have 3 boys and 1 girl (ages 2, 6, 9,11), 1 English Labrador, & their growing British Shorthair crew: Finan, Max, Elf, Charizard, Eevee, Fiona, Sova & Westa. Ryan is a local small business owner. Maggie is a hairstylist by trade, currently busy raising their kids. She has been a cat mama of shelter cats & Labrador dogs her whole life. Maggie fell in love with the British Shorthair breed & the global community of obsessed BSH owners in 2017. She enjoys breeding quality BSH kittens and finding her kittens loving homes in the West.
